Living Space
The heart of the house, the sun-soaked living room is the perfect space to relax and unwind. Enjoy a film night on the 50-inch Smart TV, or connect your Spotify account to the Sonos multi-room sound system. On cooler nights, curl up by the wood-burning fire on our sprawling sofas and watch the sunset over the lagoon.
Kitchen & Dining
Whether you’re whipping up a three-course meal or just grabbing a morning espresso, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. With a Gaggia coffee machine, microwave and oven, you don’t have to bring the kitchen sink with you. And, the next morning, you can load everything into the spacious dishwasher while you enjoy a cup of tea on the deck.
The large oak dining table is perfect for hosting up to 10 people for dinner and drinks, or for dreamily gazing out into the lake solo.
There’s also a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen features full-height sliding glass doors that open onto the terrace.

Staircase
Fling open the front door and the first thing you’ll spot is our spiral staircase. An architectural masterpiece - if we say so ourselves - but, luckily we’re not the only ones to think so. You can read about how our spiral staircase impressed both designers and architects in a variety of design publications.
Exterior
With three large deck areas, Backwater has plenty of outdoor space. For the main deck, pull out the BBQ and watch the sunset with a glass of wine and, in the mornings, try breakfast outdoors on the comfortable patio table. The lagoon is full of wildlife in the summer, not just water-lilies but a family of otters too, so look out for them as you dip your toes in the water.
